Kathleen brings a vital

Prior to real estate consulting, Kathleen was Chief Operating Officer and
Chief Financial Officer of the Barbara Kathleen Corporation, a franchise
enterprise of four successful restaurants. During her decade-long tenure,
Kathleen restructured the organization from multiple corporations into
one, successfully navigating an existing adversarial partnership change -
which resulted in doubling the business.
She obtained significant
funding for the remodel of two new restaurants, of which she oversaw
through completion, grand opening and subsequent success. She designed
internal systems for every aspect of operations, human resources,
and overall management strategies. Notably, Kathleen successfully
mentored a strong force of managers and employees by developing incentive
programs that fostered self-esteem and advancement - resulting in
a team of satisfied, long-term employees that exists today - a rarity
in the restaurant world.
Kathleen's approach to business germinated from her lifelong passion for
creating new enterprises, identifying and nurturing people's potential,
and building teams to execute her vision. |

Her formal business training culminated in a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from
California State University at Long Beach.
This was followed by a
formidable career in business management that included her own retail
clothing operation in Los Gatos' high-profile downtown shopping
neighborhood.
Her business acumen was
developed through various organizations covering: financial analysis for
foreign and domestic investments, building intricate accounting systems,
and vendor analysis and recommendation. Her personal passion for real
estate has developed into a specific area where she applies her business
savvy to produce uncommon results.
Kathleen serves as
President of the board of directors for the Carmel Valley
Chamber of Commerce, and also serves on the Local Government
Relations committee for the
Monterey County Association of Realtors®.
Kathleen conveys a rare strength of character and leadership that is
honed when pushing her own limits within the realm of physical endurance.
She successfully completed a "Century" (100-mile) ride for
Team in Training in 1998 and is an avid runner, skier, and tennis
enthusiast. This experience provides Kathleen with the ability to lead
clients to great success, and is translated into a motivating force
behind the execution of creative strategies in every aspect of the
“deal”.
Kathleen lives in Carmel
Valley with her daughter and assorted pets. She enjoys a balanced life
that is guided by an unwavering commitment to priorities, personal and
professional integrity, and an ability to see the possibility inside
every challenge.
